Eight Fictional Places We’d Love to Visit

by Tee Tate

Rivendell from Lord of the Ringsrivendale

The home of Elrond, Rivendell is one of the largest elven establishments at the end of the Third Age of Middle Earth. It is located in an idyllic valley, surrounded by forested mountains and waterfalls. Not only is it a place of great beauty, it is also a place of learning and great wisdom. It was at Rivendell that the meeting regarding the One ring was held for good reason. With the historical paintings and statues as indicators of an interest in history, plus the fact that Elrond has lived there for going on 5000 years, we can only imagine what sort of library is at Rivendell. Plus we want to hang out with elves.
