WRITING EXCUSES

Writing Excuses | Fifteen minutes long, because you're in a hurry, and we're not that smart.

Okay. We have to be honest. Writing Excuses is the inspiration for this entire post, mainly because we’re a little partial to its hosts, Dan Wells, Brandon Sanderson, Mary Robinette Kowal and Howard Tayler. What can we say? We’re genre nuts and these creative-types are responsible for some of our favroites.

We like to call this podcast “a quick infusion of necessary info” for its many dynamic details and wisdoms included in each fifteen-minute episodes. Back in 2017, Wesley Chu, Piper J. Drake and Mary Anne Mohanraj were added as secondary hosts and have only heightened the podcast’s appeal.

WHY WE LOVE IT: What’s not to love? Our favorite writers and creatives delving into some of the best (and funniest) takes on the creative process? Also, there are 15 seasons with a couple dozen episodes in each, giving you plenty of info and insights aimed to help you improve your craft. Buckle down and enjoy!
